All of the chapters for my current series have FINALLY been properly linked to in this post. Once I've got some one-shots done, they'll be here too. You can also use the Tags to your right, but they're not gonna be much help until I have something other than one big Hotch/Reid hurt/comfort fic on my journal.

Look! Oneshots! :D
NEW! Rush - Rated FRAO for explicit noncon, semicon, and consensual (H/R) slash. Also violence! Long story short: Hotch gets knocked around by a case's pack of UNSUBs, and Reid saves him, in more ways than one.

Formatting could be a mite wonky because my computer hates me this week, and I'm gonna install Vista SP1 the minute I post this, but hey, something written and posted on my epileptic hatemongering laptop is still something written and posted, haha.

Title: Rush
Rating: FRAO
Pairing: UNSUB/H, H/R.
Warnings: Language, Violence, Noncon, Slash
Summary: The chase stopped being about the UNSUBs the minute they found the girl. It was anger, guilt, and silent self-destruction that threw him into the alley after them--and sent a second chance stumbling in after him. Takes place at a nonspecific date after Gideon's departure.
Disclaimer: Don't own Criminal Minds, making no money off this.
Notes: Written from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. one night, touched up from 9 to 11:30 another night two months later and from 2 to 5pm a few days later. This started as Hotch angst plus violence, then became violence plus smut, and now it’s a big violent smutty character study that went the way of my AP papers and flew in every theoretical direction my observations of Hotch and Reid can go. Feedback is love, even if you hated it.

Two 12ep Series In About 10 Hours
Just finished Sukisyo. Three-quarters of it is cute and funny and teases at some deeper stuff. And then for the last three episodes, things got deadly serious and Jungian psychology made a cameo and some serious shit went down. Plus I watched Yami to Boushi to Hon no Tabibito before this and the last episode of that made me cry. Man, I gotta start watching happier stuff.

Next on the list: either Ouran Host Club or Strawberry Panic. In layman's terms: pretty boys and a boyish girl, or pretty lesbians that I'm watching because I can't find a decently timed fansub of Marimite and don't have room for Mai-Hime/Otome? Hmm. Tough call. Class starts in 3 and a half hours. I can watch about nine episodes of something. Guess I'll finish Megami Kouhousei and then go from there. Man, I remember that this one ends weird, too! Damn! At least I have the OVA to watch right along with it. Maybe it'll actually help...?

I guess I could try my hand at the Shinji Ikari Raising Project. Apparently his "Sexuality" stat has to be at zero to get Kaworu. It's probably full of kanji. D: DEKIMAHEN~

I love coming back to an old story with fresh eyes. You see all the flaws you were too inexperienced to see, you find new potential in situations, you throw something in and take something out. And if it's even halfway good, it's sort of a boost to your self-esteem, y'know? Having worked on and off on this story since I was 14, I've grown terribly, awfully, absurdly fond of the characters and just reading over old material makes me smile.

So I turn on TV and nothing's on, until I see Without a Paddle, and I turn that on since I love Seth Green.

About fifteen seconds after turning on the channel, who do I see? Gregory Cruz, AKA John Blackwolf from the Criminal Minds episode "The Tribe". Oh God did I ever LOL.

Just finished marathoning Mukuro Naru Hoshi Tama Taru Ko (or Naru Taru for short). Extremely deceiving opening credits and pilot, and a bit of a Gainax ending, but pretty good. The art was one of my favorite parts; some shots had a nice nostalgic feel, like the Digimon movies mixed with Studio Ghibli. But in the last episode, Shiina pulled a Higurashi Charge and they went into crazy facial expression detail. It was only 13 episodes, so naturally it gets about halfway through the manga. I'm used to that, though, the same thing happened with Alien 9. But I'm kind of GLAD that I don't read the manga, this time... Wikipedia informs me I'd be scarred for life.

And the next thing on my list to watch is Bokurano, which is by the same general group of people and apparently just as depressing. Turns out every single episode, a major character dies—after they get an episode of plot development. I should probably be watching something upbeat now, like Ouran Housuto Kyousoku or Ookiku Furikabutte, but...

Actually, I should really probably be studying for a psychology test I have to take in two hours. Or cleaning my room. Or memorizing lines. Or doing note cards for Clouser. Or jogging. Or something.

Writer's block D:

So I definitely woke up from a nap two hours ago and spent all this time on my laptop, thinking it was seven in the morning and I had to go to school at 10 so no one bothered to wake me up.

Worse yet, there were SO MANY CLUES. I went to check my MWF webcomic updates, and saw that there weren't any, and then I hovered over my lower-right-hand-clock on my desktop and saw "Tuesday". You'd think I'd figure it out here, but no. I think to myself, "Geez, I coulda sworn it was Wednesday. I really must have been asleep pretty good there to forget that!"

About half an hour later the rain came down a little harder and I was like, "Huh, I wonder how wet everything is, it's really coming down." So I look outside and it's basically pitch black and no, I still didn't get it. I just went, "Oh, man! It's crazy dark outside! This rainstorm is serious business!"

I walk downstairs intending to impart some humorous disbelief at nature to Rob and Mom, who at this time are both off on Wednesdays (thus mom sleeping on the couch didn't faze me). So I walk into Rob's office and with all hopes of having a quick, funny conversation about how it looked like the end of the world outside, I said, "So It's definitely 9 in the morning, right?"

Needless to say, we had a good laugh, though it wasn't QUITE the discussion I planned for.

Hey guys. I know I haven't written very much lately, but I'm ridiculously busy and in a bit of a slump. However, I suddenly seem to have bunnies for PWP smut, so expect a few one-shots soon.

Sigh.

All I'll say is I've got something planned involving a shower, something in a hotel room during a case, and something in Hotch's office (by FAR the most developed of the three). All of which involve Hotch. :3 And mostly Reid.

I love TVTropes.com. I really do. And normally when they shoot my childhood in the face and throw it out a window, I'm like, "Huh. I gotta go watch that show again and see if anything interesting comes up!" But when today's Psychology notes are suddenly very very relevant, and I see some really crazy stuff that seemed kind of weird at the time but wasn't really important enough to bother thinking about... double-takes are in order. Today's reason for shocked silence and a horrified facial expression, accompanied by frustrated, abstract hand gesturing:

"Rufus the Naked Mole Rat from Kim Possible represents Ron Stoppable's penis. It's long, pink, lives in his pants, and does his thinking for him. Oh snap!"

No. Really.

And then I see things like, "In this Star Trek novel....THE BORG EAT PLUTO" and "They really toned down the brain-eating" and a three-line Oedipus joke by the Animaniacs, and I go right back to loving the site.

Don't get caught up in the site if you have to get up early. I spent ten hours of my life page-jumping the first time I saw it.

Haha, oh wow. Katekyo Hitman REBORN! reminds me why I love shonen manga. Hilarious? Check. Infinite slashability? Check. Shooting-Fish-In-A-Barrel Subtext? Check. And now I've found a ROM for Legend of Mana, and I've still got more of The Crack-Up to read and Cube and two and a half seasons of Supernatural to watch, plus I have to listen to the Odin Sphere OST and marathon my newly acquired Billy Joel discography. :D So much to do~!

....Sigh.

Writer's block shouldn't last this long...

I can read any sentence in The Crack-Up and find myself inspired, curious, and purely happy all at once.

I always said I would read a book of thoughts and sentences by F. Scott Fitzgerald. I had no idea that one actually existed. Did you know he once wrote an essay on all the hotels he and his wife stayed in during their travels? Twenty or so, a paragraph each, and all incredibly descriptive. And he comes up with the strangest little things, and remembers the funniest conversations.

From Overheard:

"My last husband was thrown from his horse. You must learn to ride." He takes one look around uneasily for a horse.

"That one about the four girls named Meg who fell down the rabbit hole."

"I just happened to be on a shelf and I fell off!"

From Nonsense:

As twice as a double bumble bee.

Simile about paper they paste on glass during building.

Antibes before the merchants came.

Gleee. All I can say is, F. Scott Fitzgerald makes me want to believe in an afterlife. I love this man. <3

I'm having one of those days where I just need to put on a song, lie in bed and think.

Latest episode had nothing on the Hotchner Divorce. Only a more tired and slightly combative Hotch. And this could be the SEASON. FINALE. Mother of God. I love the writers, but AUGH.

I am beginning to like Rossi, though. He even has his own little theme music, has anyone else noticed?

Breaking Spencer Reid may not see a new chapter for a while. I've written myself into a neat little corner, and I've got a great way to push back into the swing of things, but I need to get the transition chapter done. Until that gets a little kickstart, it's H/R oneshot city.

However, there is a smutty one-shot forming right now. I promise good things.

Since "Sunday", Stargate Atlantis makes me cry
Wikipedia had better be lying to me today. If Carson Beckett is really only coming back for two episodes, heads will ROLL.

Um. On a General 1-10 Scale of Pathetic Fandom, where would being teary-eyed over this news rank...?
